Description
Three-Pines, a rural village in the far corner of Canada, is a crime-free,
friendly village. But on Thanksgiving morning, the body of Jane Neal,
the beloved old woman of Three-Pines Village,
is found in the maple grove next to the village.
That kind, loving woman dies from a stab wound to the heart by someone.
The villagers assure that this is nothing but a hunting accident.
But Armo Gamash and the team coming to investigate from Montreal feel
something unpleasant in this faraway jungle. Soon, Gamash discovers that
this death was not the result of a careless hunter's mistake,
but a deliberate killing by a brutal killer.
