Description
An old man walked behind the two of them. “Wait” cried Marlin. He came back and sat in the chair in front of Marlin.
“Tissa Kaisaruwatte – you don’t know Aravinda, do you? Doctor -”
“No. I have heard,” Tissa said. Beneath his disheveled hair was a large head. It is not extended like a beak drawn from a broad forehead. It was only when he occasionally opened his eyes that the maddened, mournful look in his eyes, which were often half-closed, became apparent.
“Tissa is a relative of ours. Our mother is the daughter-in-law of Tissa’s sister. I got to know Tissa recently.”
Tissa is over 60 years of age but looks like he is in his fifties. His shirt is new. The pants are not dirty, but they are fried.
No matter what nation Tissa is, he does not care about the past. A present subjunctive. He knows nothing, and mocks science; Society laughs. History is said to be a novel
