Description
Martin Wickramasinghe’s novel Setha, written in 1923, also belongs to the tradition of supernatural stories that reflect the mood of horror and curiosity, just like his first three novels. However, there is a story context in Wickramasinghe’s storytelling that is a little more advanced. Even in the configuration of objects, a complexity that exceeds the first three novels can be seen. That is why Wickramasinghe later said that his unfermented Sanskrit realist rule can be seen in the novel Shitha.
